Australian and New Zealand Disaster and Emergency Management Conference – Gold Coast

I’m hoping to be presenting again at the ANZDMC. I presented there last year, my topic was ‘‘All that I’m hearing from you is white noise’: social media aggregation in emergency response.’. It was very well received and went on to be published in the Australian Journal of Emergency Management. This year I’m hoping to present on the Stewardship Model in social media. I’ll update here if I have a firm decision on this.

Emergency Media and Public Affairs Conference – Auckland

I’ve been asked to present on the use of social media in crisis communications and emergency management at the July conference for Emergency Media and Public Affairs Conference in Auckland.
