Finally! Facebook updated its search functionality this week to enable users to look for older posts. Before this it was a matter of scrolling and scrolling to find something you’d previously posted and if you posted something months or years ago, needless to say that was a nightmare.
The new search functionality works in the usual search box, but instead of just bringing up pages and apps related to the keyword search, it will now show you search results related directly to you! It hasn’t hit my profile yet as it’s apparently the usual slow Facebook update rollout. The change has been in testing since September last year. Let’s assume it to be a U.S. rollout first, hitting other countries after that.
