Cloverfield is a new movie by J.J. Abrams, he’s the guy that makes LOST, the TV series about those people on a weird island. Anyway, below you can see the Cloverfield trailer, it all looks so exciting… so exciting in fact that a few days ago we went to the Drive-In Theatre to see it, we kind of wish we hadn’t.
Cloverfield could have been a good movie, it is wasn’t for the shaky handheld camera effect being completely overdone and the fact it had NO story. We were really disappointed. I don’t think it’s out in the UK for awhile, which would usually suck for UKers, but in this case it means you can hear how bad it is before wasting money on it. If you like completely brainless / storyless action films, then maybe you’ll like it.
For us it was a big letdown.
