Well today is the day! We are off on our journey to the US of A where I will be presenting at the upcoming Dreamforce conference! I can’t tell you how excited I am to be presenting at such an amazing international event. There are over 85,000 attendees on site and four full days of great keynote presentations, sessions and hands on training.
If you happen to be at Dreamforce, please come along to my session, which I’ll be sharing with the lovely Gloria Huang from the American Red Cross. We will be discussing crisis communications and how to be prepared for them using social media. As you know, this is a topic that is very close to my heart and I’ll be discussing my experience of managing social media during the Brisbane floods of 2011 and also my PhD research into social media in a disaster.
I’ll no doubt write all about my experiences at Dreamforce when I’m home, but for now, it’s off we go to LA then SF to talk social media!
