Well today is the day! We are off on our journey to the US of A where I will be presenting at the upcoming Dreamforce conference! I can’t tell you how excited I am to be presenting at such an amazing international event. There are over 85,000 attendees on site and four full days of great keynote presentations, sessions and hands on training.

So, as we were driving home today from the local shops (the Logan Hyperdome) I looked at Angela and I said “I love living here”. Every now and again I will just say this out of the blue and as you can imagine she’ll get a huge grin on her face and say “I’m so glad”. So this weekend just gone was mad. Friday night we met up with new friends (Tracey & Anne – we know! How funny!) at Cactus Jacks in Logan and had lovely Mexican food and fun conversation. We then headed over to Coffee Club for a post meal Mochaccino and more chat, before heading home at 11.30pm.

Last weekend we got up and thought “what can we get up to today?”, we decided to use our passes into White Water World and go on some of the mad rides they have there. Off we went at 9.30AM Saturday morning and yes it was warm already!

Can’t believe we forgot these. We thought Amanda would love these!! When we were at the Motor Show we went to Southbank and there was a little stall there selling chocolate filled bananas! I got a milk chocolate banana, amazed at how they did it since the banana was still in its skin! Anyway as you can see from the photos they truly are filled with chocolate, really lovely Mmmmm. If you’re outside of Oz you might not realise that January 26 is Australia Day. This is a day when Aussies go out and celebrate being Australian… kind of like July 4th in America, but without the Independence bit ;o) Oh and it’s a public holiday.. huzzah! Long weekend!
