Yes today is the day and as it’s the week leading up to Australia Day, it’s actually pretty cool that we’ve been in Australia a year. When we arrived a year ago everything was so new and strange to us, now everything just feels normal. Despite the bad weather we’ve been having recently here in ‘The Sunshine State’ we’re still really loving living here.
This coming weekend we’ll be celebrating Australia Day someplace, probably the Gold Coast at Surfer’s Paradise. Next year on Australia Day we’re hoping to be celebrating a new Aussie citizen, namely me!! No doubt we’ll let you know how that all goes. For now though it’s back to work. Oh it’s 32 degrees celcius here today… not to rub it in or anything ;op
